To do this, we need to capture and collect relevant data, organize it into a data warehouse and make it available for analysis and further applications. What we’re looking for:

We are looking for a smart and passionate Data Warehouse Developer who can easily switch between analyzing data, writing data management code, and building data platform infrastructure. And don’t worry, there is a capable team to back you up if you don’t feel equally strong in all these areas.

What we imagine you to be:

  • You are curious about data, and it's inheritance and efficient processing
  • You are expert in SQL and good with a few programming languages
  • Interest in machine learning or other advanced analytics is a definite plus
  • You are familiar with workflow orchestration (ETL) specifics and tools, e.g., Airflow
  • You have experience with some of data visualization tools like Tableau
  • You are excited about latest big data technologies like Kafka, Hadoop, Spark, Presto, etc., and are eager to integrate those in the cloud (AWS) to solve real business scenarios
  • You can work remotely with international teams with ease (via IM and calls) and feel comfortable with agile development
  • You have excellent teamwork skills
  • You live and breathe attention to detail
  • You are fluent in English

What you’ll do:

  • Analyze data streams floating around and pick ones that are most useful
  • Help development teams to instrument their products and services to produce quality data about usage and lifecycle
  • Write code and queries to process raw data into insightful data models, either in batch and real-time mode
  • Explain and document data models for your internal customer
  • Ensure that our solution can scale to billions of data records and terabytes of data
  • Be a friendly and helpful guide data guide for the inexperienced
