SMB Manager - EMEA at Algolia

We are looking for a Sales Manager to oversee and support our EMEA SMB Account Executive team. The EMEA SMB team will double in size in 2019 so this will be a high-impact role which will involve a combination of commercial and people management skills.
This role will require a prospecting mentality, a challenging nature, a strong knowledge of sales processes and a deep understanding of our product.
We are looking to hire a smart, driven, high-caliber leader who is passionate about tech and works best in a fast-paced environment to drive team performance and sales for EMEA.
 

YOUR ROLE WILL CONSIST OF:

  • Grow the EMEA SMB team from 5 to 10 over the course of 2019
  • Manage the EMEA team, located in our Paris office
  • Track sales targets for the team - prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly sales forecasts
  • Suggest and implement process improvements, working closely with Sales Operations
  • Research and discover methods to increase average deal size, reduce sales cycle, improve conversion rates
  • Build an open-communication environment for the team
  • Use customer feedback to generate ideas about new features, offerings, pricing

YOU MIGHT BE A FIT IF YOU HAVE:

  • 3+ years of successful selling experience
  • 1+ year in a sales management role, ideally within a fast growing environment
  • Experience selling in various countries within the EMEA region
  • Experience with SaaS products
  • Strong knowledge of salesforce (reports, dashboards, forecasting)
  • Excellent academic qualifications; Bachelor's Degree preferred
