The Senior Manager of Corporate Marketing will be responsible for developing and driving public relations, analyst relations, and social media marketing to increase awareness of Algolia in a manner that inspires, educates and motivates business leaders, developers and key influencers.  The ideal candidate is both a storyteller and business strategist, has a natural curiosity and ability to turn research and data into inspiring and actionable insights, and has a track record of directly driving success through PR & AR programs that reach and engage audiences in compelling ways. 
 
 

YOUR ROLE WILL CONSIST OF:

    • PR & media relations including managing our PR firm and driving our press strategy including thought leadership pitches, product launches and other announcements
    • Analyst relations including driving evaluation process, managing analyst briefings and inquiries, and identifying analyst coverage areas
    • Content strategy, development and writing for thought leadership pieces, pitches, press releases and our blog channel
    • Pitching of compelling bylines and stories
    • Corporate social media channels to amplify our story and build awareness
    • Measurement of corporate marketing effectiveness to inform ongoing improvement and future pieces

YOU MIGHT BE A FIT IF YOU HAVE:

    • 5+ years of experience working in a marketing communications function, preferably at a startup and/or fast-paced environment
    • Tenacious and resilient — you don’t give up and meet your commitments
    • Both creative and analytically-minded
    • The ability to voice, challenge, and shape our strategy
    • Curious and enjoy researching and diving into data to develop credible, compelling and innovative articles
    • Familiar working with and influencing industry analysts and the media
    • Enjoys creating a strong social media presence
