Sendoso is looking for a Staff Accountant to help with the creation and implementation of best in class finance and accounting practices. The ideal candidate is detailed oriented, has a strong foundation in general accounting, and has start up experience. The Staff Accountant will play a vital role in the success of a fast growing company and must possess a great attitude and passion for Sendoso.
General Ledger - assist with month end close journal entries for Fixed Assets, Prepaids, and accruals.
Day-to-Day accounting - review brank transactions recorded by book-keeper for accuracy and review employee expense reports and
Audit and statutory support - help prepare supporting schedules for financial reviews and annual audit.
Assist with implementing foreign currency exchange processes, including determining the average rates to be used for the income statement
Help implement Sales & Use Tax software
Prepare quarterly and annual tax filings for Sales & Use Taxes and Property Taxes, if applicable in a given quarter or tax year.
Help document and maintain internal controls over financial reporting
Skills And Experience
2+ years accounting experience
Public accounting experience; Big 4 a plus
QBO and NetSuite experience preferred
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Detail oriented and able to effectively organize and manage multiple responsibilities.
Excellent analytical and communication skills (verbal and written).
Able to work both independently and collaboratively with a team.
Confidence, good judgment, energy and personality to work in a dynamic environment across all levels of management and across functions.
