Technical Account Manager, Customer Success at TruSTAR

The TruSTAR team is composed of a mix of seasoned entrepreneurs, former security and intelligence specialists, and
killer product developers building the next generation of connective defense tools in cybersecurity. TruSTAR is a funded
early stage startup that is backed by top tier investors and with customers drawing from across the Fortune 500.
− Manage relationships with key customer accounts at the technical and executive level across growing Fortune
500 customer companies (~30% travel).
− Assist customers in architecting TruSTAR and intelligence exchange into their security operations and
quarterback implementation and expansion across security teams.
− Collect qualitative feedback from customers through regular touch-points with their technical teams to get an
in-depth understanding of their needs.
− Measure and report on quantitative metrics to help develop deeper understanding of engagement levers and
leading indicators of customer success.
− Advocate for customer needs inside company and assist in translating feedback into product requirements.
− Evangelize the TruSTAR product and lead strategic business development initiatives that align with your unique
network and professional experience, namely in the technology sector and federal agency space.
Who You Are
− Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field and/or domain expertise in cybersecurity.
− 5 years experience managing complex projects with diverse customers and senior stakeholders.
− Excellent communications and analytical skills, including a demonstrated ability to prepare documentation /
presentations for technical and non-technical audiences.
− Comfortable with product analytics and data visualization tools such as Mixpanel and/or Tableau.
− Solid knowledge of network security concepts, best practices, technology tools, enterprise security operations
workflow, and intelligence analysis techniques.
− Strong team player with the ability to work well across sales, customer success, and product development.
− Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks with minimal supervision, a sense of intellectual curiosity,
humility, accountability, and positivity.
− You take your work seriously, but not yourself - and you have a desire to be a part of a fast-paced, high-energy,
start-up experience with a team of diverse, smart and motivated people.
Preferred Qualifications
− Technical sales or Customer Success experience with customer lifecycle management experience from inception
through all lifecycle stages.
− Experience at a large corporation or in US government as system administrator (Windows, Mac, and/or Linus),
SOC analyst, and/or working with cyber intelligence.
