Position

Digital Shadows is seeking a high-energy, creative and experienced Global Events Manager. You’ll ensure events both big and small are successful and cost-effective, paying attention to budget and time constraints and delivers the best ROI. The ideal candidate will have incredible passion for planning and executing corporate, industry, and regional events. You are enthusiastic with fresh ideas and the skills required to not leave anything about an event to chance, including creating experiences that connect customers with our brand and drive leads to the sales team. You understand how to collaborate and inspire a range of internal stakeholders, including partners, product and field marketing teams and executive staff. This candidate will be able to customize the event experience and lead generation for industry experts, current and potential customers and partners. This role will report directly to the Director of Marketing.

Job Duties:

Plan, manage and execute RSA, Black Hat, InfoSec and other global industry trade shows.
Assist the Field Marketing and sales teams with best practices, to help scale field/regional events.
Provide the Communications/PR team with logistics support of media and analyst tours.
Support the Customer Success team with customer facing events that drives lead generation
Collaborate with stakeholders to develop overall strategy and execute event-based marketing programs to increase awareness, drive engagement for Digital Shadows’ products and services.
Own the full life cycle/strategy of events, from targeting audiences, understanding the competitive landscape and developing and implementing the corresponding event plan, including: materials creation, event messaging, contract negotiation, vendor relations, site selection, accommodations, participant registration, agenda scheduling, staffing, on-site set-up, and logistics.
Manage metrics that are critical to the success of events, such as event promotions/evaluations and ROI analysis.
Source and negotiate with vendors and suppliers
Prepare budgets and ensure adherence
REQUIREMENTS

5+ years of experience in event project management or trade show production.
Analytical, results-oriented, ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to align events with global Company marketing and communications strategies.
Experience in managing projects that have short deadlines, limited resources, and cross-functional dependencies.
Experience in managing event budgets
Strong leadership skills
Ability to travel both nationally and internationally 2-3 times per quarter
Based in San Francisco, Dallas or London.
