Sales Training Manager at Gather

Gather is a sales & marketing platform used by top venues across the US to manage and grow their private events business. We're a funded startup, and we're growing -- fast!
Bottom line: We're looking for a Sales Training Manager to own the creation and delivery of sales on-boarding and continuous learning programs. Hospitality is an ever-changing landscape, and this role will enable our sales team to hit our ambitious goals by getting our new hires up to speed, keeping the team up to date on the latest product features and releases, and helping to develop our next generation of sales leaders.
This role will report directly to our SVP of Sales.
What you'll do:
Drive development and delivery of sales training programs, including new hire on-boarding, continuous learning, new product and feature certifications, and skills workshops.
Continuously measure the effectiveness of training programs and iterate as necessary.
Build and maintain a library of self-learning courses.
Develop a strong understanding of our sales processes and techniques.
Be an integral part of the planning and execution of our annual sales meeting.
Work with sales leadership to evaluate and recommend new tools and practices.
Bring fresh ideas to the table and use data to make decisions.
What you should bring:
Empathy, resourcefulness, and drive.
Minimum of 3-5 years of proven success in an inside sales training role, preferably within a SaaS company!
Exceptional interpersonal & communication skills.
Experience with Salesforce or another CRM system.
Deep knowledge of sales training tools and methodologies.
Strong worth ethic with the ability to work independently & manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Desire to have fun at work and preferably have a passion for food, drink, and general merriment.
