What you’ll be doing…
We are looking for candidates with infrastructure development experience to contribute to our cloud lifecycle management platform. Think about automating everything from cluster spinup/down, auto scaling, configuration, upgrades in a cloud environment with multiple services across many data centers distributed geographically. Who you are...
Ideal candidate needs to have a proven experience in Infrastructure automation and configuration management in a complex cloud environment. He/she should have the ability to analyze the operating environment to identify gaps and be able to present the design for fulfillment. This requires the candidate to be hands on with programming and have experience in operating large scale complex cloud environments.
What you’ve done…
Expertise in one or more programming language as appropriate (depending on the platforms on which he/she has experience) – C, Ruby, Shell, Python
Familiarity with Java and Java based web technologies.
Strong foundation in virtualization technologies and exposure to at least one of the configuration management systems like Chef, Terraform, Docker, KVM, AWS, GCP etc.
Solid “systems” fundamentals related to performance, scale.
Familiarity with SQL databases (procedures, triggers, etc.)
Expert in working with Unix/Linux
Bachelor’s degree (CS preferred) and 5+ year experience
Experience building and deploying a global cloud service
